JFS students who exhibit positive behaviors have a chance to win some great prizes as part of the Lunch and Earn program.
Students who model the cafeteria and recess guidelines can receive tickets from monitors. Names are picked randomly each month for a special incentive. In November, students earned a trip to the Cider Mill.
Students in grades 6-8 all have the chance to earn tickets by displaying good behavior, helping to keep the cafeteria clean, and other criteria. The more tickets earned, the more chances to be picked for that month's incentive. Future incentives include a catered holiday lunch, make your own sundaes, Moe's fiesta, Subway picnic, pizza with the principals, cocoa and cookies in the courtyard, and tickets to the Rumble Ponies.
Lunch and Earn is made possible through a UEEF grant.
