Student participates in research internship
One UEHS student spent part of summer immersing himself researching plant biology as part of a summer internship program.
Matt Larson participated in a science research internship at the Boyce Thompson Institute, an independent, nonprofit institution affiliated with Cornell University and located on its Ithaca campus. Its mission is to advance and communicate scientific discovery in plant biology to improve agriculture, protect the environment, and enhance human health.
Working with two professors, Matt assisted in the research, “Developing a Data Comparison Tool for Musabase and MGIS using the BrAPI Interface.”
This was a wonderful learning opportunity for Matt as he continues his education at U-E and in college.
