Student recognized for #ChooseKind
As part of the #CHOOSEKIND initiative at JFS, students wrote notes of appreciation to clients and workers at several local humanitarian establishments (churches, hospitals, law officials, schools, military.) The purpose was to explain how we appreciate their efforts in making a difference in our community.
Students received many thank you notes in return. One student, seventh-grader Madison Barton, received a certificate from Jack Seman, director of CHOW. Her note and artwork will be published in their upcoming community newsletter.
