Keeping fit and being strong benefit all students. Working to keep our U-E Tigers strong and healthy is part of the strength and conditioning program at U-E.
Andrew Long, strength and conditioning coach, oversees the program and recently visited JFS to talk with students about it. Along with senior volleyball players Katie Knickerbocker and Krystin Wasser, and BOE member Jim Truillo, Long discussed the program, its benefits and encouraged students to give it try. Katie and Krystin talked about the fitness room and the way the program has helped improve their overall strength. Truillo discussed how keeping active has given him more energy.
