Students study nature

Students at Finch Hollow
It may have been a wet, rainy day but that didn’t stop CFJ first-grade students from learning about nature when they recently traveled to Finch Hollow Nature Center.

Students walked the trails and were able to observe many variations of wildlife in their natural habitat,. They learned about adaptations of birds that help them to survive and had time to explore the museum exhibits. It was an exciting day of new learning that aligned with the science curriculum they have been studying in the classroom.
