The Union-Endicott High School Guidance Department invites all sophomores, juniors and their parents to its annual “College Information Night” 6:30 p.m., May 20 in the high school auditorium.
Important information on college planning and admissions will be discussed. Please come and join us to learn more about the college application process.
Topics that will be covered include selecting a college, admissions criteria, testing (SAT’s, ACT’s), and more. This year’s panel will include representatives from a two-year community college, a four-year state college, and a four-year private university. Guest speakers from Broome Community College/SUNY-Broome, Binghamton University, and The University of Scranton are scheduled as these presenters. In addition to procedural information, they will provide some real insight into what college professionals look for in a student’s application.
This is an excellent opportunity for students to learn more about the college application process and to start thinking about their college plans. “College Information Night” will prove to be a helpful tool in making those important decisions.
