Senior pursuing music education

Mark U-E is proud to recognize our seniors who will continue their education in music. We will highlight each of them in the coming weeks. Our third student musician spotlight is Mark Schneider.

Mark was introduced to music in fourth grade where he found his passion for music. He is a member of the orchestra, concert and jazz bands, chorale and also the a capella choir. He has been a member of the U-E Marching Band for five years, holiday strings throughout high school, and plays guitar on the praise team at his church. He is also a member of Tri-M music honor society, the cross country, bowling, and track teams. He has been participating in all-county festivals since fifth grade and this year, sat first chair in all three festivals. He also has performed in NYSSMA every year since fifth-grade.

Currently, Mark has been focusing on perfecting his performance with the alto saxophone.
In the fall, he will attend SUNY Fredonia to pursue a career in music education.
