AGM students are kind

AGM held its monthly Olweus assembly and the theme was kindness. Over the last month, students focused on kindness, being kind, what is kind and what it looks like.
During the assembly, Ned’s Kindness Adventure group traveled around the world to see kindness in action in other countries. In Nairobi, Kenya, where resources in schools are very limited compared to the states, the group saw how, despite that, the children worked together and demonstrated kindness to each other in many ways.
Each month, as part of the Olweus anti-bullying program, students focus on a word, learn about it and demonstrate ways to show they understand the meaning of the word. At the end of the month, students attend an assembly with skits, songs and readings on that month’s word.
