Students returned over the weekend from their trip to Italy where they stayed with host families, toured various cities, museums and points of interest and immersed themselves in the culture.
They attended school with their host students, visited chapels, attended a Serie A soccer game, traveled to Rome, MIlan and Florence, visited the Vatican, and enjoyed Italian food and culture.
UEHS Italian teacher Amalia Roma-Circensi said, “I'm very proud of all these students! They were excellent ambassadors for our country. Everywhere we went, people complimented me on how nice and respectful they were!”
