Interns pitch idea to management

UEHS student interns got a feel for making a corporate presentation when they traveled to the brand new Visions Federal Credit Union (FCU) to pitch an idea to the CEO and management team.

UEHS Visions FCU interns, for their internship capstone project, presented a new high school branch concept for the UEHS Visions branch.

They tied for first placed with their concept “Tigers Federal Credit Union,” a café style branch located in the Tree Room at UEHS.

Visions CEO Ty Muse presented gift cards to the UEHS interns and seniors were awarded scholarships for their work and service.  The six interns worked as bank tellers inside the UEHS branch, earning both high school credit and a paycheck while gaining real-work experience.

Congratulations to juniors Ese Amata, Bailey Gyllenhammer and Laura Zibbon, and seniors Ramandeep Kaur, Keegan Stanbro and Michael Yacovoni.
