Class of 2019 valedictorian, salutatorian
UEHS is proud to announce the class of 2019 Valedictorian and Salutatorian.
Sawyer Daniels is this year’s Valedictorian. He is a member of National Honor Society, Science Olympiad, serving as team captain his senior year, TigerTronics, Chemistry Olympiad, Italian Exchange, and has been in the high school musicals all four years of high school. He is an AP Scholar and a NYS Scholar-Athlete. He played JV and Varsity soccer and was captain his senior year.
He has volunteered at the Dick’s Open and participated in numerous fundraising and community volunteer activities for school organizations.
In the fall, Sawyer will attend Brown University where he will triple-major in astrophysics, chemistry and electrical engineering.
He is the son of Tiffany and Dean Daniels
Jennifer Lee is this year’s Salutatorian. She is a member of National Honor Society, Tri-M Music Honor Society and is treasurer, Science Olympiad, and team captain, Chemistry Olympiad, BCMEA Orchestra, Italian Exchange and UEHS Orchestra and president of the Girl-Up U-E. She is the recipient of the Seal of BiLiteracy for the Italian language. She is an AP Scholar and participated in PLTW, Medical Pathways and is an intern for the Physical Chemistry Program at U-E.
She has played tennis for U-E since eighth-grade, playing varsity all four years of high school and is a NYS Scholar-Athlete.
She volunteers at St. Anthony’s Feast Days, Broome Humane Society and with St. Francis Ministry.
Jennifer will attend SUNY Stony Brook, majoring in physics.
She is the daughter of Lisa and Robert Lee.
