Tiger Ventures has been busy with a business and marketing plan for “The Market at Tiger Ventures.”
This class of young entrepreneurs developed a plan, discussed inventory and what they could include by reusing, recycling, repurposing, growing, and harvesting.
The first product grew from an idea, was planted in the garden, and then grew, literally. Over the spring and summer, students planted and cared for many vegetable and herb plants, including peppers. The fall harvest was a success, especially with two of their Carolina Reaper plants, a Trinidad Scorpion, and two Caribbean Red Habaneros.
With all those peppers, students decided to make their own hot sauce. After researching recipes, they made a honey, peach, mango Carolina Reaper sauce named “Sweet Reapers Revenge.”
In addition, students have been working on holiday-themed projects with Halloween first up. Reusing wood, pallets, and other materials from the school building construction projects, students have created Jack-O-Lanterns, signs, and shelves.
The website is live and still undergoing work with daily additions and updates.
Students are already working on fall, Thanksgiving, winter, and Christmas products. Stay tuned!
