Last month 32 business students from UEHS traveled to New York City to explore the financial district and visit Decoded Advertising. The COO and Creative Director of Decoded Advertising gave students a tour of the advertising agency and spoke with students about careers in marketing. Students were shown sample ads that were created for their well-known clients such as Visa, Career Builder, and Planet Oat Milk.

 

After learning about advertising and marketing, students walked the Financial District, seeing Wall Street and the Stock Exchange. The tour for business students ended with a subway ride to Times Square to view various tourist spots. This field trip allows our business students to explore careers and tour businesses outside of the Broome County area as well as get a feel for what it is like in a big city.
