Going from fifth grade to sixth grade can be a big adjustment and one way to help ease into that transition was for fifth graders to visit JFS.
Fifth graders from all four elementary schools traveled to JFS to meet with JFS student ambassadors, meet building staff, and tour the school.
The ambassadors took the students on a tour of the building, visiting the library, health, guidance, and main offices, the gym, technology rooms, and the student store. Ambassadors also answered questions and talked about their experiences in middle school and different things that helped them throughout the year.
It was a nice, comfortable way for fifth graders to get a glimpse of what next year will be like.
