Community and collaboration continue to benefit our students. Recently, members of the Central United Methodist Church learned that the water fountains in schools have been converted to bottle fillers. Church members were looking to provide a need in the community and thought JFS would be perfect.
After working with JFS staff and church member Nicole Derick on getting the Tiger logo, they raised money within a few weeks to purchase 900 water bottles for the school.
Thank you to Pastor Michelle Bogue-Trost, Associate Pastor Laurel O’Connor and Pat Hanson, Education Council Leader, Nicole Derick and the entire church congregation for the donation.
