Rotary donates trees

The support of our Endicott Rotary has been a constant over the years. Food, school supplies, and most recently, trees! On an overcast day, Endicott Rotary once again donated trees to two of our elementary buildings.
TJW received a George Washington Sycamore and a Franklin Roosevelt Black Oak, and GFJ received a Moon Seedling Sycamore. Rotary members and students planted, tied supports, and watered the trees.
Each tree was acquired from American Heritage Trees. The trees combine our nation’s historic heritage with conservation. Each tree offers a special significance in American history and tells an interesting story about U.S. presidents, explorers, writers, and other key figures in our nation’s history.
Endicott Rotary continues this program, which was started two years ago to promote environmental and educational experiences within elementary education.
