Student to attend conference
Congratulations to Violett Robertson on her invitation to the National Youth Leadership program for Law and CSI. This was given to her by Envisions partnered with George Mason University. Liberty Partnerships is honored to have one of our students receive such a great opportunity.
Violett will be going to George Mason University July 29-August 3, 2018, to take part in a mentoring program put on by Envisions, which is a premier organization with 31 years of experience in NYFL Law and CSI services. George Mason University also give students who attend this event college credit as an incoming freshmen. George Mason University sets a very high standard for education and for the students who attend their school. GMU faculty are extremely impressed by the similarly lofty standards set by the forum and the impressive credentials of its attending scholars, and they took special notice of this remarkable program.
Attending NYFL Law and CSI is a tremendous opportunity for personal growth, and receiving credit from George Mason, a university of the highest caliber, will enhance a student’s impressive academic profile. This program will provide Violett a rich experience as an emerging leader.
The Liberty Partnerships Program (LPP) at Binghamton University was established in 1988. The program is included in the New York State Education Department's Statewide Plan for Higher Education as part of its strategy to maximize the successful transition of middle and high school students who are at-risk of dropping out of school into graduates who are fully prepared for the rigors of higher education and the competitive demands of the workplace.
