AGM shows perseverance
AGM recently held its monthly character assembly as part of the year-long Olweus Character Traits program with April being perseverance.
Each month, a new character trait is introduced and students learn about ways to incorporate that trait into their daily lives. So far students have learned about friendship, responsibility, positive attitude and others.
Students talked about the ways they can persevere through difficult situations in life. Mrs. Klem’s third-graders performed for the assembly, each student telling their version of perseverance and then holding up posters to a Bruno Mars song.
Students who showed perseverance received certificates.
