Students volunteer with Habitat

Students at Habitat

Even during a pandemic, our UEHS Tigers find a way to make volunteering a priority.
Over the last two months, incoming seniors Abigail Winans, Emily Amlin, Kinaed Forsyth, and 2019 graduate Toby Gusefski volunteered at Broome County Habitat with fundraisers and other special events.
Recently, Habitat had a special need for extra hands at a construction site. Normally, construction is usually reserved for those who are 18 years or older.  When an early morning call came in, these students answered and headed to the job site.
They helped pour the concrete footer that needed to get done so the project could stay on schedule. Thank you to these students for the extra set of hands. It could not have been completed on time without their help! #TigerPride!
