Working in garden provides learning for students

Tiger Ventures at EVC

Tiger Venture students have been learning about growing vegetables, taking care of plants, and working on the greenhouse on the Tiger Ventures campus. To get more hands-on experience and complete a community service project, students spent the afternoon at the Endicott Visitors Center (EVC) courtyard to help get it ready for public events.
Tiger Ventures staff Mary Mullock, Nick Greco, and Dave Ganisin brought students over to help beautify the courtyard at EVC. Students pulled weeds, racked, and placed mulch around established flower beds.
Not only did students learn by doing, but they also put into action community and collaboration; working together for the betterment of the place we live in.
