An Italian tradition was discovered by some GFJ kindergartners and first graders when La Befana visited their classrooms. La Befana is an Italian tradition like Santa Claus. Each year, on January 6, she brings treats to the good girls and boys.

Pascale Minna dressed in traditional La Befana clothing, carrying treats in her basket as she visited Toni Walker's kindergarten class and Holly Gabriel's first graders. Students learned about La Befana and were very excited that she visited them!
