Engineering students present projects

Students from the engineering capstone class Engineering Design and Development are currently engaged in an independent study in which they choose a problem in their field of interest. Once a problem was identified, they worked with local engineers to design a solution and build a prototype.

Recently, these seniors presented their problem proposals to nearly 70 community members, including engineers from Lockheed Martin and BAE. In addition to finding solutions to an engineering problem, students also had to practice their presentation skills as part of the overall process that would occur in the professional working environment.

These students did a great job! Noah Anderson, David Benninger III, Gavin Bowman, Zachary Diefendorf, Andrew Jiang, Lauren Kneer, Carson Lyman, David Mazzares, Patrick McGuinness, Mitchell Taylor, Dustin Verno, and Sydney Ziemba.
