Hearts Students send valentine cheer to vets
JFS seventh-grade social studies teacher Amanda Atkinson recently launched an extra credit opportunity for her students to bring some Valentine’s joy to local veterans, which quickly blossomed into a school-wide project.

JFS students in English as a Next Language (ENL) class recently visited the American Civic Association for its International Fair, hosted by BOCES New Visions Education and Law & Government Career Academy students. 
Movie night JFS PTSA Movie Night
The PTSA is hosting a free movie night, featuring "Ralph Breaks the Internet" 6 p.m. March 1. 
UEEF logo Lunch and Earn at JFS
Setting good examples and modeling good behavior are priorities during lunch and recess periods at JFS. Students who demonstrated both were recently rewarded with a catered Italian lunch from U-E food services for their model behavior in the lunchroom and at recess as part of the school’s Lunch and Earn program.

1.We will not bully others.

2.We will try to help students who are bullied.

3.We will try to include students who are left out.

4.If we know that somebody is being bullied, we will tell an adult at school and an adult at home.
