Setting good examples and modeling good behavior are priorities during lunch and recess periods at JFS. Students who demonstrate both are awarded each month with a special catered lunch for modeling good behavoir.

Career on keyboard Professionals talk with students about future
Having the opportunity to meet and talk with professionals can set the right tone for students who may be unsure of what direction they want to go. To help some of our UE students find that direction, student members of JFS Brother to Brother and UEHS The Squad spent a couple of hours with area professionals as part of both clubs’ third College and Career Fair.

YES Leads has been an important extracurricular activity across the district and to that end, JFS YES Leaders spent some time with fifth-grade students to talk about safe and healthy choices.
