book fair JFS Book Fair
The JFS Book Fair runs December 2-6 in JFS Library. Students can shop during lunches and study halls.
There is also an online fair for parents to shop that will open on 11/27. Click here
JFS tiger Lunch reward for students at JFS
Lunch and Earn at JFS continues this school year with students being recognized for setting good examples and modeling good behavior during lunch and recess periods.

A select group of JFS sixth-grade students began a three-part process on editing a book. Working with local author Daniel J. Miller on his soon to be released young adult book, students will get a firsthand look at what is involved in writing, editing and publishing a book.  
UEEF UEEF Trivia Night
UEEF will host its annual Trivia Night, 6:30 p.m., February 7, 2020 in the UEHS cafeteria. Get your team in now and help support learning for our Tigers.

More than 88 students from JFS and UEHS recently traveled to Regal Cinemas to see the movie "Harriet."

At its regular meeting, members of the BOE heard about the many things happening at JFS that are helping in building community, collaboration and communication between students, staff, building leaders and families. 
scholar athletes Modified scholar-athletes recognized
Earn your stripes means character, attitude and education. Setting the tone and culture in the middle school is the key to success in the years ahead. To that end, the U-E Athletic Department, coordinated by athletic director Ryan Hallenbeck, started the modified scholar-athlete recognition program.

4.If we know that somebody is being bullied, we will tell an adult at school and an adult at home.
