BOE Goals

Proposed Success Targets:

  • Grades K-12 Graduation Rate: 
    • 2020-2021 High School:  Increase by 3% from 92% to 95%
      • 2019-2020 High School:  Increase by 5% from 88% to 93%
    • 2020-2021  District: Increase by 3% from 87% to 90%
      • 2019-2020  District: Increase by 5% from 82% to 87%

 

  • Grades 3-8 ELA & Math Proficiency: 
    • 2020-2021 No assessments given in 2019-2020 due to the pandemic.
      • 2019-2020 ELA: Increase by 9% from overall 36% to 45% on ELA 
      • 2019-2020 Math: Increase by 9% from overall 41% to 50% in Math

 

  • District Chronic Absenteeism: 
    • 2020-2021 Decrease by 15% the number of chronically absent students (10% or more of their instructional days) from 781 to 705 students.
      • 2019-2020 – Decrease chronically absent from 870 students to 783 students.

*SIRS data has been used to identify the number of chronically absent students.

 

  • District Out-of-School Suspensions: 
    • 2020-2021 Reduce by 15% the number of out-of-school suspensions from 404 days to 343 days
      • 2019-2020 Reduce by 10% the number of out-of-school suspensions from 288 days to 259 days.
