Do you want to build a snowman? The answer at TJW is YES! Kindergarten through third-grade students were challenged to build the tallest snowman they could with just a few sheets of paper, straws, pipe cleaners, and tape in the school's STEM lab. Students practices measuring, putting items together to create the snowman, and math skills. It was a great way to get the students excited for the holiday break.
Eight classes participated with 156 students from the following classes: Patty Doane, Heather MacQueen, Nicole Osborne, Marianne Allen, Jessica Phillips, Nicole Schrader, Joanne Bettis, and Melissa Masse.
