AGM Library Night Out
This year’s third AGM Library Night Out Mystery theme was “A Movie Star Mystery.” Students in second through fifth grades and staff played a game in which all 120 participants were involved in a suspicious crime where everyone had to figure out who stole the $1 million Golden Trophy from the celebrity award show. Students were treated to autographs, selfies, and a walk down the red carpet with their favorite celebrities before using their sleuthing skills to solve this tricky who-done it. After closing the case, student detectives headed to the library to check out books.
The two previous Library Night Outs were held in November for K-5 and was an evening to learn about the library and get books. The second one, held in January, was geared to K-2 and was a drive-in movie night. Students constructed their own cars out of boxes and watched a movie.
The March mystery night was geared 2nd-5th graders. Library Night Outs are supported through the Building Planning Team.
