BU grad shares message with students
The UEHS Squad held its final meeting of the year with a special guest speaker who talked with members about overcoming struggles and creating opportunities.

Tremayne Stewart knows first-hand that creating those opportunities and working hard pay off. Stewart majored in computer engineering as an undergrad and is currently working on his master’s in electrical and computer engineering at Binghamton University. He was one of the commencement speakers at graduation last year, receiving a standing ovation for his speech. He is also employed as a computer software engineer for YouTube.

His recent visit at UEHS focused on understanding struggles and working hard to overcome them, stating, “Create opportunities for yourself when there’s no clear path laid out. People who you would look up to, they were once in your position. They just stuck with it long enough and did something.”
