UEHS students in Michelle Gee's entrepreneurship class participated in a brainstorming session with students from Binghamton University's School of Management. The BU students are part of the Leading Creativity and Innovation (LEAD 354) course at Binghamton University run by Associate Professor Kimberly Jaussi. This is the third time BU students have visited Gee’s class during the first half of the school year; allowing the college students to get her students to begin thinking outside of the box and receive input about their ideas from a fellow peer.
The main objective in the entrepreneurship class is to get students to brainstorm business ideas and then to further their ideas by creating business plans for them. They will then compete in the Greater Binghamton Scholastic Challenge in May. The creativity workshop allows the high school students to get a different perspective when it comes to brainstorming and how they can become creative even in a structured class setting.
