Information on flu season

If you suspect your child is getting the flu, it is essential that he/she does not attend school or go anywhere else, such as childcare, stores, or sporting events. Symptoms of the flu-like illness include, fever over 100 degrees Farenheight or 37.7 degrees Celsius, cough, sore throat or runny nose. Additional symptoms may be muscle pain, fatigue and sometimes vomiting or diarrhea.

Please remember to emphasize good hand washing, cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing and dispose of used tissue in wastebasket. If you do not have a tissue, cough or sneeze into your sleeve.
