Health educator recognized
Ashley Dray was recently recognized as the NYSHPERD South Central Zone Health Educator of the Year at a ceremony at SUNY Cortland during the South Central Zone Conference.
She has worked at U-E for over two years as the health education teacher at both JFS and Tiger Ventures. She received a bachelor’s in health and physical education from East Stroudsburg University and a master’s in adapted physical education from SUNY Cortland.
Ashley is zealous about ensuring that health and wellness are at the forefront of her students’ everyday lives and is continually looking for ways to improve and better reach her students.
