20% Project features fashion

African clothing in fashion show
Not only did one junior put in at least 20 percent of her time, she was also the first one to host an African Fashion Show.
Brianna Cadet’s 20% Project focused on showcasing African fashion while raising money to donate to Village to Village Care, a local non-profit.
Her show, “Made in Africa” featured handmade clothing and outfits from regions in central and western Africa.

With help from her friends and family, Brianna raised over $350 to donate to Village to Village Care, which partners with people of rural areas in African countries and other undeveloped areas of the world to help them achieve a high level of wellness by focusing on health education, nutrition, disease prevention and treatment.
