Welcome to your child’s prekindergarten program! You and your child are about to begin a new experience together that will last for many years to come—that relationship between home and school.
We welcome your ideas and cooperation. You are your child’s primary teacher, and we would like to work together in this exciting process. We encourage you to talk with our teachers and staff, call us, and come into the classroom to participate in our activities.
Our program provides learning experiences for preschool children to play, listen and talk, share and cooperate, and continue to develop their skills and interests. Our curriculum is aligned with the New York State preschool curriculum, but we understand that children develop at different rates and learn in different ways. In our classrooms, we provide children with a learning environment and varied experiences to help them develop socially, intellectually, physically, and emotionally in a way which is appropriate to their age and stages of development.
