Health Insurance Union-Endicott offers its employees a choice of 2 health insurance plans through our carrier, Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield. The Regionwide Plan is traditional indemnity insurance. The Blue PPO Plan uses a network of preferred providers. In General, the district pays 90% of the cost for individual coverage and 87.5% of the cost for family coverage. Insurance deductions are noted below, and are taken over 10 months of bi-weekly pays from September through June. The employee costs below represent a monthly cost, and are not an indication of the actual bi-weekly deductions.

There are 2 open enrollment periods each year, in December and June. |

Employee Assistance Program Union-Endicott offers this benefit to all permanent employees at no cost. The program is provided through eni (Employee Network Incorporated), and offers both confidential emergency and short-term counseling services, as well as a wide variety of work/life balance assistance. |
Omni 403(b) All Union-Endicott employees are eligible to have money deducted from their regular salary and sent to a Tax Sheltered Annuity otherwise known as a 403(b) account. The district uses the services and forms provided by OMNI Financial Group, Inc. Tax shelter money can be sent to any of the approved companies listed for UE on the Omni web site: http://www.omni403b.com/ To access the U-E portion of the page click on Clients on the left hand side of the page and then select Client Home Page from the drop down menu. Flexible Spending Union-Endicott offers its full and part time employees the opportunity to participate in flexible spending. The district's plan is designed to qualify as a cafeteria plan as established by section 125 of the Internal Revenue Code. A qualifying employee who elects to participate must enter into a salary reduction agreement, and can choose to have the reduction taken on a pre or post tax basis. The flexible spending plan year runs from October 1st to September 30th each year. SIEBA, LTD is the third party administrator of the Union-Endicott Central School District Flexible Benefit Plan. |
