Union-Endicott residents will have an opportunity to vote on a $12,157,560 Capital Project referendum on Tuesday, December 5 from 12 – 9 p.m. Voting locations include the District Office, George F. Johnson Elementary School, and Thomas J. Watson Elementary School.
To ensure residents are informed about the scope of the project and renovations needed, the district will host a Public Hearing on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 7 p.m. in the District Office.
Community residents will have an opportunity to ask questions and share their opinions prior to voting on December 5.
Proposition I: Capital Project
The proposition authorizes the District to proceed with a capital improvement project not to exceed $12,157,560 for planned infrastructure renovations and site work at the District. This proposition also authorizes the issuance of $9,007,560 in serial bonds and the following uses of funds: $2,550,000 from the capital reserve and available funds, and $600,000 from grant funds.
