Promise Zone

Promise Zone!

Promise Zone!
Miss Q is now Mrs. Davy!!!!

Promise Zone is a university assisted program through Binghamton University where Community School Coordinators (Stephanie Davy at UESCD) work within specific Broome County schools to bring community resources, schools and families together. Part of that university assisted model is that interns from BU run programming for students and families while they learn how the school system works!

The goal is to develop the community school model where the school is

the center of the community. Taking small steps to get there!

Promise Zone sites
Union-Endicott, Johnson City, Binghamton, Whitney Point, Lee Barta Community Center, Windsor, BOCES, Elmira City Schools, Chenango Valley... and we're growing!

Name: UnionEndicott PromiseZone

Promise Zone is open at Jennie F. Snapp Middle School
on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (no Wednesdays).

This year we have expanded to the elementary schools and Tiger Ventures! How exciting!

**Please do not send students to Promise Zone to get passes for study hall. Students are to come to Promise Zone if you plan to send them- you get to choose who comes! :)
As a reminder, if Promise Zone is in your study hall for social skills, students CANNOT
sign out for the Library and go to PZ instead during that period. ***
***Thank you!***

January 19th: Open periods 4 - 7 and 9
