The Union-Endicott Board of Education adopted their proposed spending plan for the 2015-16 school year after the budget workshop on April 15. You can see the details of the budget proposal in the powerpoint from the workshop, as well as the related budget documents in the "Resource" section.
The budget contains a proposed property tax levy increase of 1.30 percent. This is our maximum allowable tax levy provided by the state. Once again, it will be essentially a 0 percent increase for all STAR-eligible properties in the Union-Endicott Central School District thanks to the state's rebate program.
Any questions about the budget can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org
. As usual, you should see a "Tiger Trends" budget newsletter and budget postcard in your mailbox before the vote on May 19.
All community members are invited to attend the Budget Public Hearing at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 in the UE District Office. The budget vote will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 from 12-9 p.m. at the District Office, George F. Johnson Elementary, and Thomas J. Watson, Sr. Elementary.
